We did it! Funding complete! What's Next?

Hey Backers,

WE DID IT! Thanks to 586 backers we have raised $36,651 to bring our project to life!

So what's next?

Step 1: Kickstarter is going to need two weeks to collect pledges. Once all the funds are collected they will release the funds. We will then be able to give our factory the green light to move forward with mass production.

Step 2: During the two week collection phase, we will be working on our BackerKit Survey & Pre-Order store where you will be able to confirm your pledge reward, purchase add-ons (e.g. additional APEX MINI pens, ink refills in a variety of colors, spare parts, and other ZeroHour products and accessories) to ship together with your reward. You will also input your shipping address so we know where to send your package.

We will be posting a Backer Update in approx. 3 weeks when we send out BackerKit invitations and also instructions on how to use BackerKit.

We had a great first week of funding! A huge thanks to both our returning and new backers for supporting our campaign. We are very happy that you believe in our APEX MINI and are here to support the re-launch!

COMMENTS & SUGGESTIONS

We would like to take this moment to give thanks to everyone who has given us feedback in the comments/messages. We especially love to see when backers notice certain things and point it out to us so we can make the necessary updates and changes on our page. For example, when we first launched the campaign we forgot to mention in the description that our final design will indeed feature the finger-indentations from the original APEX pen (Thank you, Jim!) We have new prototypes being made now and will share photos of them when they arrive in a future backer update. Keep the ideas and suggestions coming!

ORIGINAL APEX PENS (TITANIUM)

Our SOLD OUT original titanium APEX pens are a hit and we have received a number of messages and comments to make them available again, perhaps as an ADD-ON to this project. Although we would love to bring these back, unfortunately there are minimum order requirements set by our manufacturers which are difficult to meet especially in smaller quantities. This is actually why we come to Kickstarter. Truly, without the backing and support from you, we (along with many other creators) may never be able to make our dreams a reality. At this time, because Kickstarter does not allow re-launching of past successfully funded projects, it has been a challenge to re-stock the original APEX pens. If we are fortunate to have any extra funds from previous or current campaigns, they usually go into paying our engineers and to the development of future Kickstarter projects and prototypes. Ultimately, we will try our best to allocate any additional funding towards APEX original and hope to have good news in the future.
