Just as the subject suggests... shipping phase begins very soon. The first shipment 📦 of APEX MINI pens have arrived to our office and they look awesome! Check these out...
Although we are anxious to get these into your hands, we need a bit of time to prepare them for shipping. Please allow us a couple of days to lock-down and import BackerKit orders, check the pens, print out hundreds of labels, and package them up. You will receive a tracking number by email as soon as your label is printed.

If you have not yet answered your BackerKit Survey, you're going to want to ASAP! We want to try and get these to you before Christmas.
2. Enter in your Kickstarter email address to get your survey link. Please note that we are using PayPal as our secure payment processor.
3. Answer our Survey questions and browse our add-ons
If you decide to select add-ons, you will need to click the yellow PayPal button to complete the purchase at the very end...

Mass Production completed, Shipping Phase begins soon

Season's Greetings! 🎄🎁
APEX MINI mass production and assembly is complete! We just received the good news from our manufacturing partner last night that both the APEX MINI + APEX TITANIUM ORIGINAL PENS should be arriving to our office in 2 weeks!
What's Next?
As soon as the shipment arrives to our office, we are going to lock-down BackerKit surveys and send out a 48 hour reminder to give backers the opportunity to update any shipping addresses that might have changed. Tracking numbers will be assigned to each backer and you will receive yours by email. Please keep in mind we are going to need several days to package orders so you may not be able to track your package online right away. Your patience is greatly appreciated 🙏 as we move into the shipping phase.
Did you back ZEROHOUR XR2?
If you are a domestic (USA) backer who also pledged on our ZEROHOUR XR2 flashlight project, there is a chance that the flashlights will be ready to ship in 2 weeks as well! So best case scenario, we can try and ship your pen with your XR2 shipment. Since XR2s are being shipped by USPS Priority Mail, ultimately your pen can arrive faster than if it shipped separately by USPS First Class. We hope this is the case, but no promises!
We will be sending out another backer update in approx. 2 weeks.

Happy Saturday! 😊
It's been awhile and wanted to check in with everyone. Mass production is still underway and we have some photos and a video clip to share with you.
Here is a photo 1,500 Fisher U4F (Black Ink Fine Point) refills. We are going to be sending these to our assembly partners to get installed into each APEX MINI after mass production is completed.
And here is a short video clip of the CNC process...
Shown here are the pen bodies before milling and drilling of the signature ZeroHour vents...
We deeply apologize that our CNC machine operators can machine just about anything we ask them to, but when it comes to recording a video or taking photos, they can't figure out how to shoot horizontally 😂. But with all jokes aside, we do hope to work with them on improving on this in the future.

Just a quick check-in with everyone! As we mentioned during the campaign, the mass production version of the APEX MINI pen will come with finger indentations to match the original APEX pen design. We wanted to take this moment to share some of these photos:
It's perfect! The APEX MINI is truly a mini version of our original APEX pen. Our manufacturing partners have been given the green light to move forward with mass production of both of these pens...

Hey Backers 👋,
Great news! The pledge collection phase is complete and the funds have been released. Our BackerKit page setup is complete and invitations have been sent out. If you haven't received an email from BackerKit yet, please follow the instructions below.
3. BackerKit will email you your special link to the survey
4. Browse our Add-Ons (e.g. original APEX pens, APEX Mini pens, ink refills, etc.) at special Kickstarter rates. Any items that you Pre-Order will ship together with your pen reward when we move into the shipping phase. We do not charge any additional shipping for Add-Ons.
5. Be sure to enter in your shipping address so we know where to send your reward!
In order to get an accurate count of how many additional pens and accessories we need to produce we are asking that you complete your survey and payment as soon as possible.
ORIGINAL APEX TACTICAL PENS (POLISHED TITANIUM)
We have some awesome news regarding our original polished titanium APEX 🖊️pens. This pen has been sold out for several years and we've gotten a lot requests to bring them back. We were recently able to negotiate and secure a small batch (limited production run) of the pen!
The pen is now available as a pre-order and add-on at a discount on BackerKit (to ship together with your APEX MINI reward 📦) or on our website www.zerohourxd.com. We recommend getting it as an add-on through BackerKit so there are no additional shipping fees.
